Due to the changes in technology, many skilled people in India find it more and more difficult to earn a living.As a result, the skills passed on from their forefathers which once made their culture distinctive are slowly dying out .By working with organisations that work amongst the slum dwellers and people from disadvantaged back grounds. The handloom shop is therefore designed to tackle this problem.

Our Aims:
To promote and maintain traditional crafts and skills
To ensure everyone involve gets a fair price for their hard work
To teach new crafts
To provide an outlet for young artisans so they can develop a more stable and productive lifestyle.

We are selling:
Beautiful loin loom woven silk and cotton scarves and shawls in unique designs
Hand embroidered bags
Handloom woven table runners and table clothes.

Help Tibet
Help Tibet works in partnership with people of Tibetan origin to promote
sustainable communities and to develop initiatives which support the well
being of the most vulnerable.

2. Skills development of the Tibetan community particularly the younger Tibetans
3. Development of our environmentally friendly and innovative new home for Tibetan old people in India
