NANGAUNOZYE FASHIONS
Nangaunozye Fashions is a small women's sewing training program and women's cooperative based in Lusaka Zambia. Mary Lumbemba was inspired to create the sewing training program to provide young girls and women the opportunity to learn new skills and to empower them to start small micro businesses to support themselves and their families.The skills training program in Lusaka has extended into the rural villages where the rural women are learning and upgrading their skills in basket weaving using local materials that do not destroy the environment. Nangaunozye Fashions markets African theme attires, baskets and jewellery produced by the groups.
